Hey, I'm Navit

Additional Work Experience
7 years in customer service (bookstore, craft donut shop, coffeeshop, cafe manager, movie theater, dog daycare).
These early work experiences may be considered non relevant, but they gave me stress and people management skills I use to this day.
Hobbies
Music: 23 years on harp, 20 years on flute, learning guitar and Irish whistle.
I read (a lot).
Yoga, it keeps me sane. Running, walking (that can definitely be a hobby!).
Knitting when it's winter.
Travel. At this point it's a way of life. I've backpacked New Zealand, Vietnam, Iceland. Visited or lived in every U.S. state except Delaware, Alaska and a few in the deep South. The past 5 years I've explored CEE and the Nordics from my bases in Kraków, Poland and Malmö, Sweden.
Gardening and staring at plants.
Consuming and making beverages (kombucha et al). I serve a mean toddy. Next time you're sick, let me know, it's a proven cure-all.
A few final basics that will help us both if we ever meet:
I stopped being a strict, lifelong vegetarian at the age of 26 for ecological, cultural and wellness reasons. Happy to talk about this.
I’m a proud Nebraskan. It’s still the most beautiful place I know. If that surprises you, let’s explore about why.
I know my name may not be what you expect. Yes, it’s my real name. It’s Hebrew, it’s a verb and it’s not often used, even in Israel, which is why you’ve never heard it before. Makes it pretty handy to grab my url in 2020 though. 😉
Anything else you might like to know, ask!
